Our TeamWe are environmental scientists and engineers who study environmental issues, focusing on microbial communities residing in various habitats and their roles in sustainable food-energy-water nexus.
|
Our GoalUsing 'omics' approaches, coupled with bioinformatics, advanced analytical chemistry, and fundamentals of microbial ecology and environmental sciences/engineering, we are probing the environmental microbiome. We aim to understand microbial ecology in natural and engineered systems and translate this knowledge to innovative solutions for resource recovery and reuse, ecosystem sustainability, and public health improvement.
